Features are the tools customers use inside the full-screen editor — adding text, clipart, shapes, uploads, and more. You turn them on and configure them from the left sidebar of Calculator Editor → Step 5 (Designer). Each feature is a draggable card; click a card to open its secondary panel with that feature's settings. Reorder cards with the up/down arrows — that order is the customer-visible order in the storefront sidebar.
Feature tab names (Text, Clipart, Crop, and so on) are built-in system strings — translate them in Optional Features → Languages, not from the feature panel. See Product Designer Translations.
| Feature | What customers do | Settings |
|---|---|---|
| Text | Add and edit text on the design | Default font, size, and color; which fonts customers can choose. See Managing clipart and fonts. |
| Clipart | Add graphics from the catalog or your shop library | Visible standard categories; show search; Choose clipart to exclude…; Manage clipart library. See Managing clipart and fonts. |
| Image Upload | Upload extra images onto the design | Accepted file types, max size, "Open edit tools on upload" toggle, drop zone / browse / Add Mask labels |
| Shapes | Add vector shapes | Which shapes to expose (rectangle, circle, ellipse, line, arrow, star, polygon) |
| Frames | Add borders, shadows, and masks | Borders and drop-shadow toggles; shape-clip masks (circle, rounded, rectangle, custom PNG upload) |
| Draw | Freehand and annotation tools | Which tools to expose (pointer, freehand, arrow, line, callout, eraser, redact/blur box) |
| Layers | Reorder, hide, and delete elements | No extra settings — customers manage stacking, visibility, and deletion from this tab. In Image Edit, Change background (photo or solid color) is available here when Layers is enabled. |
| Crop | Reframe the artboard or upload | Aspect presets (landscape, portrait, custom ratios), default aspect, orientation toggle |
| Finetune | Adjust the selected image | Which sliders to expose (brightness, contrast, blur, HSL) |
| Filter | Apply preset looks to an image | Which preset looks to expose — storefront previews use the customer's image |
Most features work in both editor modes. A few differ:
Paste a URL into the Logo field in the left sidebar. The logo appears in the editor's top-left corner on the storefront.
