Overview
Appify CPO ships with a curated clipart catalog and Google Fonts for the Text feature. You can extend both with shop-wide custom assets in Step 5, then limit what appears on each calculator. Configure clipart from the Clipart feature; configure fonts from the Text feature.
App-provided clipart
The editor includes clipart organized by category — Popular, Trending, Love, Handwritten, Holiday, Nature, Watercolor, Graphics, Flags. Customers see this in the Clipart panel by default.
In Step 5, when configuring the Clipart feature, you can:
- Choose which standard categories are visible (multi-select; leave all unchecked to show every standard category)
- Toggle the search input on/off
Adding custom clipart
In Step 5, select the Clipart feature and click Manage clipart library. The library modal lists all system and custom clipart:
- Sort by Name, Category, Source, or Keywords (click column headers)
- Filter with All / System / Custom
- Add clipart: pick a default category, choose multiple PNG/SVG files, then Upload (file names become display names; edit rows before Save library)
- Optional keywords per row (comma-separated; used by storefront search)
Custom clipart is saved for your whole shop and appears in the editor after the app-provided catalog categories. In the Clipart feature settings, click Choose clipart to exclude… to open a searchable two-column picker (like font selection): move items to Excluded for this calculator only. A summary list in the panel shows current exclusions without loading the whole library.
Keep individual SVG files small (about 50 KB or less) so the Clipart panel loads quickly on the storefront.
Fonts
Fonts apply to the Text feature only. Configure them in Step 5 by selecting the Text feature in the left sidebar.
Choose fonts for this calculator
In Text feature settings, click Choose fonts for this calculator… to open one modal with:
- Google fonts — two-column picker with live previews; choose which web fonts customers can use on this calculator.
- Custom fonts (shop library) — upload WOFF, WOFF2, TTF, or OTF files (saved for your whole shop), edit family names, and remove fonts.
- Exclude custom fonts — hide specific uploaded fonts on this calculator only (Google choices are controlled in section 1).
Click Save to store the shop library and apply this calculator's font list.
Text defaults
In the same Text feature panel:
- Default font — preview dropdown (only fonts enabled above).
- Default size, color, and text box width.
Storefront font picker
When customers edit text, the Font control is a searchable dropdown where each option is rendered in its own typeface (same UX as the calculator Font option).
Font loading on the storefront
When a customer opens the editor, Appify CPO loads the Google and custom fonts you enabled for that calculator so text renders correctly in the font picker and on the canvas. Before generating the proof PNG on save, the editor waits for fonts to finish loading.
Font licensing is the merchant's responsibility — ensure your license permits web embedding and use in customer-generated artwork.
Examples
- Branded sticker shop — Upload your logo clipart and brand font in Step 5, then exclude generic system clipart you do not want customers to use on that calculator.
- Wedding stationery — Enable a curated set of script Google fonts plus one custom WOFF2 family; set the default font to your house style in Text feature settings.
