Overview

Other pages is for calculators that are not assigned to products in the app. Use it when the calculator lives on a homepage, landing page, collection, blog, or custom page — not on a product template. This is not the usual setup. Most stores should stay on Product pages (recommended) in Calculator Editor → Placement & Styling.

Add to cart can still work. On the other-pages Appify Calculator block, pick an Associated product — that is the Shopify product customers add to cart.

Steps

1. In Placement, select Other pages (homepage, landing, custom page).
2. Copy the Calculator ID.
3. Open the Shopify Theme Customizer for the page where the calculator should appear.
4. Add the Appify Calculator block (the other-pages block, not the product-page block).
5. Paste the Calculator ID into the block’s Calculator ID field.
6. To let customers add to cart, pick an Associated product in that same block.
7. Click Save in the Theme Customizer, then Publish the calculator in the app.

You can reuse the same ID on more than one page.

Also show on a product page

Use this when you want the same calculator on other pages and a product page — you do not need a second calculator. Pick the product that has the Appify Calculator block on its product template. Skip this if the calculator only appears on other pages.

Examples

• Landing page that sells a kit — You embed the calculator on a custom landing page, paste the Calculator ID, and set Associated product to the kit. Visitors configure options and add that kit to cart without opening a product page.
• Quote on the homepage — You add the calculator to the homepage with the Calculator ID and no associated product. Visitors see a price estimate and contact you to order.
